Kuwait’s Fire Brigade responded to a fire alarm at the Hotel Courtyard Marriott at around 07:00pm today.

The Hotel is located in Al Shuhada Street – Sharq.

The Hotel was checked out and the Hotel Management, staff and guests were relieved to know that it was a false alarm.

There have been a spate of fires happening given the high heat of summer and rise in electricity usage.

Residents are advised to be cautious and have a fire escape plan available in case of emergency evacuation.
