Yay! That’s the spirit Fatema. Have fun at the walkathon.

Remember, don’t jog or run (it’s against the walkathon rules), one foot has to always on the ground when the other is in the air.

Tip: Try speedwalking, don’t take long steps – you’ll tire yourself soon, keep a constant pace, don’t go too fast…just a comfortable pace where you’ll not run out of breath.

Hope you’re already practising for the walkathon..try to walk for an hour on alternate days.

Remeber: it’s all for a cause, let’s leave the winning for the professionals (personally I think army, athletes should not be allowed to participate) this event should only be for the normal residents who are not professional athletes) NBK: hope you read this

Yay for us! I have signed up for the walkathon and ive been looking forward to it.. Its gona be my first ever walkathon so reading your experience was great insight.. I have a question though, how does one win a walkathon? Do you know if we are allowed to jog or run?

Thanks Princess. This will be my second walkathon
Every year the numbers keep growing at the walkathon.
This is very unique event held by NBK each year and the support given by the people towards the various causes is very welcoming and its heartwarming to see so many people doing their bit. Hope you’ve registered already?

Yes, I’ve registered for the Walkathon this year too. It’s really amazing to see so many people out on the streets during the walkathon to support the various causes like diabetes, stop smoking, breast cancer. It’s very positive and NBK is doing a good job bring awareness and making a difference to the Kuwait society. Hope you will be joining the walkathon too

Sarah Attar is born in the USA, raised in the USA and holds a USA Passport, even graduated from high school there. the longest time she stayed in Saudi Arabia was less than three months.
the only thing that links her to Saudi Arabia is bay mare accident her father holds a Saudi Arabian passport.
So how in hell does she dare in call her self a presenter of all the Saudi women!!!

P.S.: she can not speak Arabic !!
