The Kuwait Committee of Kyokushin Karate derived from the Kuwait Olympic Committee will be holding the 1st International Kyokushin Karate tournament on the 6-7 July 2012 in the Kuwait Judo and Taekwondo Federation Club.

The president of KCKK Sensei Basal Al-Bannnay invited groups and organizations (IKO Kyokushin Union, ShinKyokushinKai, Kyokushin-Kan, IFK) with fighters from 23 countries Japan, Russia, Great Britain, Hungary, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and Kuwait etc.

In attendance to 1st Kuwait International Tournament are chief director All Kyokushin World Union Shihan Yoshikazu Koi , President of Kyokushin World Federation Shihan Loek Hollander KWF, Shihan David Pickthall – International Karate Federation (Kyokushin) given authority of Hanshi Steve Arneil, Referees and Judge from Great Britain, Japan, Netherlands, Uzbekistan and Kuwait.

About Kuwait Federation of Kyokushin Karate

Kuwait Federation of Kyokushin Karate is the official organization in Kuwait affiliated with the International Federation of Karate (Kyokushin).

The KFK was founded in 2006 by the committee members of the KFK under the supervision of the Chairman Shihan Jassem Al- Duwaisan 5th Dan.

About Kyokushin kaikan

Kyokushin kaikan (極真会館) is a style of stand-up, full contact karate, founded in 1964 by Korean-Japanese karate master,Masutatsu Oyama (大山倍達 Ōyama Masutatsu) who was born under the name Choi Young-Eui (최영의). Kyokushinkai is Japanese for “the society of the ultimate truth“. Kyokushin is rooted in a philosophy of self-improvement, discipline and hard training.
